Trail Closure – Menesetung Bridge
Starting in mid-April 2025, the Menesetung Bridge north of Goderich will be closed to all users for essential structural repairs. The closure is expected to last approximately 16 to 20 weeks.

Rouge National Urban Park – Zoo Road Day Use Area Closed for Construction
Zoo Road Day Use Area closed March 3 for construction of the new visitor centre in Rouge National Urban Park. There will be no access to Rouge National Urban Park through this area until construction work is complete in 2027.
Trail Closure – Bayfront Park to Princess Point
The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail in Hamilton is closed between the Bayfront Park parking lot on Harbour Front Dr and York Blvd until further notice.
Trail Closure – Colonel Samuel Smith Park
A small section of the Waterfront Trail through Colonel Samuel Smith Park will be closed for construction, resulting in a long-term detour during construction hours (Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm).
Trail Closure – Victoria Fields Park by Whitby Harbour
A small section of the Waterfront Trail by the Whitby Harbour will remain closed during the upcoming harbour dredging, resulting in a long-term minor detour.
Closure – Cherry Street Bridge to Cherry Beach
The bascule bridge on Cherry Street leading to Cherry Beach is currently closed for repair, and is expected to remain locked in an upright position for several weeks as of May 13, 2024. There is a Trail detour along Commissioners Street.
