Hotels/Motels/cottages and other non-camping accommodations are not included in the price of the 2026 GWTA.

Camping is only available in the overnight community of Leamington within Point Pelee National Park  – there is NO CAMPING in Windsor but reasonably priced University of Windsor residence rooms are available for you to book in this city. CAA travel will be handling all bookings for University residence rooms – details will be available in mid January.

We strongly advise that you book supported hotels on the list below. There is ample supported accommodations in Windsor and Leamington so it should not be necessary to book alternate locations that we cannot practically support. If you choose a hotel off this list or an AirBnB, it is your responsibility to pick up and drop off your luggage from a central location that will be determined.

Otentiks in Pt Pelee National Park August 12 & 13 ( available at additional cost)

If you wish to camp in Point Pelee National Park but don’t want to bring your own tent then there are 12  Parks Canada Otentiks available to GWTA riders. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow since bedding is not provided in the Otentiks.

  • Sleeping for 6 with high density foam mattresses.
  • A spacious living area with a table, chairs, overhead light and 15 amp electrical outlets for everyday low-power use.
  • Sites are walk-in only, with nearby parking available for 1 vehicle/site
  • Heated sites make for all season camping

Details of how to reserve an Otentik are coming soon – price will be in the region of $111 per Otentik per night with a one time Parks Canada booking fee of $11. ( based on 2025 pricing)
