The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail east of Bowmanville Ave near Bowmanville Westside Conservation Area is closed for resurfacing.
Update: Construction complete and the Trail is now open.
Reconstruction of the trail commenced June 19, 2025 with an anticipated closure for two weeks, weather pending (ie. July 4, 2025). During the closure no detour has been signed. There is no pedestrian or cycling infrastructure on the Bowmanville Ave crossing of Highway 401.
