Shoreline repair and long-term erosion mitigation project along Waterfront Trail between East Point Park and Highland Creek.
Work on this section of Trail will be complete and the section reopened to the public by end of day June 25, 2024. TRCA has completed and integrated shoreline protection. Repairs addressed extensive trail damage caused by erosion and a new design to raise the trail above the high water line.
Earlier in 2023, The TRCA and City of Toronto paved the interim work along the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail from East Point Park to Port Union.
