Trail Closure – McQueston Bridge Stairs – Hamilton

The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail at the McQueston Bridge Stairs between York Blvd and the Waterfront Trail in Hamilton is closed until further notice.

Damage to a retaining wall is currently being assessed. The stair closure affects the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail and HamBur Loop. While there is presently no signed detour, there are facilities connecting York Blvd to Locke St in the east and Dundurn St in the south. Be aware that there is ongoing construction on the south side of York Blvd east of Dundurn St.
