The Blue Mountains

You are here: Home / Community Profiles / Communities / The Blue Mountains

With tantalizing views of the Niagara Escarpment and beautiful vistas of Georgian Bay, discover the welcoming communities of The Town of the Blue Mountains. Boasting both the villages of Thornbury, Clarksburg, and Blue Mountain Village itself, there are many opportunities to connect to Georgian Bay’s cerulean coast through great local parks, beaches and marinas. Exult in the highlands with signature Ontario hiking, skiing and downhill cycling experiences at Blue Mountain Resort.

Enjoy a leisurely ride along the Georgian Trail or take in the view from Scenic Caves. Sample the harvest at Goldsmith’s Orchard Market or at the Thornbury Village Cider House. Wander a peaceful trail or shred a double-black-diamond downhill.  Regardless of which offering you choose, whether it’s the unique dining and shopping opportunities, or the overnight experiences from lakeside camping to resort villas with mountain views, you’ll find all the amenities you need to begin or end your Great Lakes Waterfront Trail journey in The Blue Mountains.

Where else can you enjoy Ontario’s high country and waterfront in quite the same way?
