Long-Term Closure – Port Union, Toronto

Closure – Rouge River Bridge
The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail between the Rouge River north to Rodd Ave will be temporarily closed for the weekend of April 22, 2022.
Closure – Brightwater Development, Mississauga
The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail in the area of Mississauga’s Brightwater development is closed through March, 2022
Railway Bridge Underpass + Shoreline Remediation – Rouge River
Metrolinx is rehabilitating the railway bridge over the Rouge River, extending the life-cycle of the bridge by a further 20 years. The Rouge Beach is also receiving some remediation work, closing Rouge Beach May 24-June 17.

Ajax Rotary Park
The Great Lakes Waterfront Trail from Duffins Creek to Rotary Park in the Town of Ajax is closed due to ongoing construction. Trail re-opens June 28, 2021. An on-road detour has been developed. Click here to see the route.
